Client FAQ

Do you publish your prices?

Yes. Fixed fees are exact. Retainers show a “from” price because the fee depends on company size, and we tell you the number on the first call.

Do the tiers stack?

No. Each offer is built for a different situation: an owner who needs a standing advisor, an organization that needs its people trained, a leadership team that needs an AI executive and a build team. You pick one. If your situation changes, you move, you don’t add.

How many hours do I get?

We don’t sell hours. Each offer says exactly what happens and when: the calls, the cohorts, the office hours, and for Fractional CAIO, one active build at a time from a backlog you prioritize. You’ll always see what’s in progress, what’s queued, and what shipped.

Is there a guarantee?

No. We won’t promise results we don’t control. The assessment can tell you not to proceed with an idea, and it will if that’s the honest answer.

Who actually shows up?

Dan Klosterman, EdgeTeam’s founder and Chief AI Officer, runs every call, every cohort session, and every office hour. Builds come from EdgeTeam’s engineering team, which includes Dan.

What happens to our data?

It goes only into EdgeTeam business accounts with no-training terms, never personal AI accounts. We record working sessions with Fathom so nothing is lost; recordings stay inside EdgeTeam and are deleted when the engagement ends. Builds run in your accounts, and you own them.

We’re a Microsoft shop. Is this Copilot training?

No. EdgeCorporate is platform-agnostic standing support: two cohorts a year for your people, a monthly briefing on what changed in your platform, and private office hours open to everyone. If you want a one-day Copilot workshop, your Microsoft partner probably offers one for free, and we’ll tell you so.

We already pay for ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude. Why do we need this?

Licenses are not adoption. Most of the companies we talk to have paid seats that a handful of people use. The cohorts and office hours are how the rest of the team gets there.

Can we start small?

The assessment is the small start: two weeks, $5,000, and a plan you can execute without us. If you then choose any retainer within 60 days, the $5,000 credits toward it.

What’s the minimum commitment?

Assessment: one engagement. EdgeCore Pro: month to month, 30 days’ notice. EdgeCorporate and Fractional CAIO: six months, then month to month.

How do we pay?

Cohorts and EdgeCore Pro by card. The assessment, EdgeCorporate, and Fractional CAIO by invoice, first period upfront.

What if it isn’t working?

Say so on the next call. Every retainer has a monthly recap and a quarterly review where we ask that question ourselves, and the answer can be “move to a different program” or “stop.”

We’re not in Sioux Falls.

Everything runs on Zoom and Slack. The only in-person element is the October cohort’s graduation at the AI Edge Summit.
